Any dermatologists in the house? It’s time to register once again for the 9th Asian Dermatological Congress 2013! Below, I share a few details about what to expect in this conference.

9th Asian Dermatological Congress

The Asian Dermatological Congress this year will be held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 10 to 13. It was organized by Asian Dermatological Association, Hong Kong College of Dermatologists, and the Hong Kong Society of Dermatology and Venereology.

Asian Derma Congress 2013 Highlights

This 2013, the Asian Derma Congress will be tackling several topics. If you’re interested in joining the conference, expect to come home with more knowledge on the following topics.

  • Aesthetic dermatology topics will be discussed, including Botulinum toxin injections, fillers, body contouring, tightening, cosmoceuticals, and photoprotection.
  • Dermatopathology and genetics in dermatology will also be tackled.
  • Common skin diseases, such as eczema, allergy, hair and nail disorders
  • Conditions of special interest, such as blistering diseases, infections, pigmentary disorders, psoriasis, and skin cancer will be touched on.
  • Expect to brush up on your skills as the conference will also revolve around technical aspects of dermatology, such as phototherapy, lasers, and the use of medical dermatologic devices.
  • Last but not the least, there will be a focus on Pediatric Dermatology.
