My Column at Health Care Magazine
Ermegerd, it’s finally here! My complimentary copy of Health Care magazine just arrived! And my health column looks just as hot as the summer sun, thanks to the simply fab-tastic team behind the mag!
Before I injure myself from smiling too much, I’d like to formally introduce to all of you my “Doctor At The Desk” column at Health Care magazine, published by the same company that makes your trusty PPD. (If you’re a nurse, pharmacologist, or physician, you can vouch for how many times the good ol’ PPD has got your back.)
Introducing My Health Column, Booyah!
Forgive me for doing the happy dance way too long, but writing for a column is something I’ve looked forward to since I posed for a picture in front of Mr. Patrick Uy, courtesy of my Health Care Mag family. Finally, my copy is here and I love just how the column looks!
My column is named Clinical Impression. Just find my photo on the table of contents if you want to read it. If you don’t have a copy yet, you can get Health Care Magazine delivered to your doorstep for a super-affordable PhP600 yearly subscription! They ship for free, by the way.
For this issue, I wrote about beach bods, crash diets, and holiday weight. I talked about how starving yourself can actually lead to even more weight gain. (Oh, yes, you heard it right.)
“Too many people have unlearned the skill of enjoying a good meal – don’t be part of that sad statistic.
Unfortunately, there’s no online copy of the magazine that I can share with you. But you might want to know how this column came about – and you can find the story below.
A few months ago, I was both flattered and humbled when Health Care asked if I could write a column for the magazine. But of course! Right after I heard of their offer, it was all I could do from jumping up and down. Needless to say, my ADHD was triggered by the awesome opportunity!
Writing is one of the things I most love in life. Sharing what I’ve learned in my 30+ years of Stef-life is probably another. Having a column was like getting to do both and getting paid for it!
Again, all this would not have been possible if not for the vote of confidence of my Health Care family. To all of you, you are all awesome! And of course, the wonderful readers of this blog – and of everything else I’ve written – get my heartfelt thank you as well. At the end of the day, all my words are nothing without people who want to read it.
If you want a fun health magazine that doesn’t cost as much as other yearly subscriptions, go for Health Care Magazine. Seriously, it’s just PhP600 for an entire year’s subscription! Visit Health Care online to order your copies now. (Apologies if I sound like an infomercial. I’m still recovering from my eagerness to share the good news!)
